Owners Festival Experience

Owners are the life blood of racing and at Punchestown we truly appreciate your support. Every runner is important to us and every effort is made to ensure the best possible facilities are provided for the safety and comfort of horses that compete here.  Please see below some information ahead of your Punchestown visit:

In advance of your visit:

AIR Card Holders
Your AIR badges allow you entry to the racecourse where you will receive your owner badge, giving access to the parade ring and owners and trainers bar. If applicable you will also receive a wristband for the Goffs Owners and Trainers Lounge. If you do not have your AIR cards please contact the owner department of HRI via the details below.

AIR Representative Badges
If you have misplaced your AIR cards or wish to send a representative racing in your place (and cannot get your AIR cards to them) please apply for AIR Representative badges through HRI Ownership here by 12pm the day before racing. Due to the volume of requests we ask you please respect the ticket request deadlines.

Owner Guests and Syndicate and Club Members
Please see below how many complimentary additional admission tickets for guests or syndicate / club members you are entitled to.

Owner guests and syndicate and club members can also pick up tickets at the AIR Turnstile. Owner guests and syndicate and club members will be welcome to use the Owners and Trainers bar throughout the day and will have access to the parade ring.

How to include Guest Names on AIR List
To avoid any confusion and disappointment on the AIR desk we are requesting you to include the names of your guests or syndicate/club members on the AIR list. Please email HRI Ownership on tickets@hri.ie with the date of the race meeting, the horse’s name, your name and the guest names by 12pm the day before racing.

Extra Tickets

We appreciate that having a festival runner is what ownership is all about and so demand for tickets are high. If you find yourself needing additional tickets beyond the allocated amount, we’re here to help! Simply give us a call at 045 897704 to secure them in advance. To show our appreciation, we’re offering  a 20% discount for bookings made ahead of time. Just ensure you call before 5pm the day before racing to take advantage of this offer. Purchased tickets will be left in ticket collection under the given name at time of booking and ref the horse name.

On the Day:

There is ample free parking at Punchestown. With and owners and trainers and car park available on first come first served basis. Please show your AIR card to verify access.

Owners should access the racecourse via the AIR turnstile under the Goffs arch. This is located to the right of the main entrance building. In order to streamline the process please have your AIR cards ready.

The Goffs Owners & Trainers Lounge returns serving a delicious buffet lunch and full cash bar service. To maintain a comfortable environment and ensure everyone’s enjoyment, access to this venue is limited to four individuals per owner, including partnerships, syndicates, and clubs — regardless of the number of horses they have running that day. Only those with appropriate wristbands will gain entry.

The Goffs Owners and Trainers is located on level one of The Hunt Stand accessed via the archway at the winners enclosure end of the parade ring. Check out its location on the Festival Enclosure map below (number 12).

There will be a newly located additional Owners and Trainers Bar, which is conveniently situated adjacent to our shopping village in the southern enclosure, next to the AIRO tent (number 15 on the map). Remember, you will require your Owners and Trainer badge to gain admission to this venue.

People make Punchestown and thankfully the Festival is extremely popular with owners and connections.
