Colm Quinn Horse Power at the Punchestown Festival

Colm Quinn BMW Group are the most recent high profile and final addition to the sponsorship line-up for the 2021 Punchestown Festival, Tuesday 27th April to Saturday 1st May.  

The Athlone based luxury car firm, with further retail centres in Galway and Drogheda with Sligo due to open late 2021, has committed to a cross card double on the concluding day of the prestigious festival and indeed entire national hunt racing season, Saturday 1st May. The pair of sponsored races kicks off with the three mile seven furlong Colm Quinn BMW Group Handicap Chase off at 2.50pm. The second of the newly sponsored races, the penultimate of the entire event and a new addition to the programme for 2021,  is the €20,000 Colm Quinn BMW Group Mares Handicap Hurdle over two and a half miles.

The Colm Quinn BMW Group have become established as one of the firm favourites for the Irish racing industry and a go-to for many leading owners, trainers and jockeys. Founder and CEO, Colm Quinn welcomed the announcement “We are delighted to further extend our support of Irish racing with this dual-sponsorship at the Punchestown Festival. It is a fitting grand finale for a sport and industry that we are deeply involved in and an ideal opportunity to be part of what a special day that recognises the incredible achievements during the past season”.

The 2021 Punchestown Festival runs from Tuesday 27th April to Saturday 1st May with full coverage available on RTE, Racing TV and via the Punchestown social media channels.
