Un De Sceaux now 4/7 for BoyleSports Champion Chase as Tiara set for Sandown
Gods Own 4/1 to retain the crown
Following the news that Special Tiara is likely to clash with Altior in the Celebration Chase at Sandown, we have removed the Queen Mother Champion Chase winner from the betting for the BoyleSports Champion Chase at Punchestown.
As a result, Ryanair winner, Un De Sceaux is now 4/7 from 8/11. Last year’s winner, the Tom George trained Gods Own is his nearest rival in the betting at 4/1. It’s then 5/1 about Fox Norton with Kerry Lee’s Top Gamble priced at 12/1.
Simply Ned is priced at 25/1 for trainer Nicky Richards.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said “It’s now likely that Special Tiara will be heading to Sandown, resulting in our traders shortening Un De Sceaux into 4/7 from 8/11.”
He added “Last year’s winner Gods Own will be sure to serve it up to Un De Sceaux, but at present we haven’t seen much interest in Tom George’s runner. No doubt when the entries are officially released next Wednesday we could well see more horses come into the reckoning for the €250,000 showpiece of day one at the Punchestown Festival.”
