Dr. Jane Mulrooney wins The Bollinger Best Dressed Lady Competition in style at Punchestown

 

The sun came out for Ladies Day at Punchestown which saw Dr. Jane Mulrooney crowned The Bollinger Best Dressed Lady at the Punchestown Festival. Crowds of 29,419 descended on the popular Kildare Venue. Here are the top news stories from the day!

 

Attendance Figures:

2016 – 29,419

2015 - 28,398

Up 1,021 on last year

Collectively so far Tuesday – Friday attendance is 84,403 (up 1,476 on last year)

Racing again tomorrow AES Family Day – first race 2.35pm

Bollinger Best Dressed Lady Winner:

Dr. Jane Mulrooney from Galway living and practising in Dublin wearing a Martha Lynn hat, a stunning Roksanda Llincic dress, Channel bag and Jimmy Choo Shoes was deemed the judges favourite despite stiff competition in the style stakes today.

 

Dick O’Sullivan, General Manager at Punchestown Racecourse said “I am thrilled with today’s event, the atmosphere was electric, the glamour was outstanding and the racing was absolutely superb. Attendance was up today on day 4 with 29,419 patrons, the overall attendance so far at the festival is 84,403 going into day 5 tomorrow when we have AES Family Day tomorrow kicking off from 2.35pm. AES Family Day is a day we are all so proud of with the world of free entertainment for children, it will be great to welcome a family crowd along to Punchestown for our festival finale.”
