Supreme second Min set to miss rest of season

MIN, one of the supposed Irish bankers at the Cheltenham Festival but no match for the impressive Altior in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, will not run again this season, trainer Willie Mullins has revealed.

Mullins had already revealed his plans to send a strong squad to Aintree for the Crabbie's Grand National meeting as he attempts to secure his first British trainers' title, but Min will not be among that party.

"Min has not come out of Cheltenham well - he is out for the season," said Mullins. "He will be going out to grass."
