Review joint-favourite for Albert Bartlett

UP FOR REVIEW, yet another exciting novice hurdler to emerge from Willie Mullins’ all-conquering stable, made such an impression in winning Friday’s Grade 2 Dorans Pride Novice Hurdle, BoyleSports introduced him into their Albert Bartlett market as 5-1 joint-favourite.

BetVictor cut Up For Review into 7-1 (from 16) but he is only a point bigger than Tuesday’s Challow Hurdle winner Barters Hill with a number of firms after cruising round Punchestown under Ruby Walsh.

“He was very good and jumped well,” said the jockey, who made all on the Andrea and Graham Wylie-owned six-year-old in the six-runner affair.

“His form is rock-solid and it will take a good horse to follow him. He has goes a good gallop and has a decent cruising speed, so it’s onwards and upwards.”

Mullins, who won the Dorans Pride with Faugheen two years ago, saddled Up For Review in last season's Weatherbys Champion Bumper at Cheltenham, in which he finished 18 of 23.

The son of Presenting is two from two over hurdles after his 13 length romp in the 3m contest.
